If you missed a call from the employer and received a voice note with the second interview invitation, you can call and respond over the phone and then follow up with a confirmation email. For example:

"Good morning Mr Brown, I am sorry that I missed your call but I am delighted to receive your invitation to a second interview. Yes, I am available on Tuesday, November 15th at 9.30 a.m. and look forward to meeting with you then."

How to respond if the employer asks you to suggest a suitable time for the second interview

This is an opportunity to come across as assertive and decisive by suggesting a couple of alternative dates and times rather than just saying "any date suits me". It also reinforces that you are busy with other interviews.

"Thank you for your invitation to a second interview for the sales position. I am very pleased to be given the chance to explore this exciting opportunity further.
